*We often hear the names of certain countries in the news along with reports of military action, war, terrorism, and death. Today we explore the food of these countries in an attempt to focus on the peaceful and sharing nature of humanity. A common thread to all cuisine is its positive influence from foreign cultures. It is hard to find a “traditional” dish of one country that is not shared with another. Let this be a lesson for other areas of cross-cultural interaction.
