Permission to play with your food again.

When we were young, we didn’t worry about what kind of food went into our mouths, whether it was broiled or fried, manufactured or hand-made, lifted from a paper plate or from the kitchen floor (much to the dismay of mothers everywhere).

Fried chicken followed by a raspberry Otter Pop?  Sounds good to me.

We had but one requirement: Whatever it was, it needed to taste really good.

Growing up subjected our taste to grown-up expectations. No more bacon-wrapped hot dogs. No more Technicolor soft drink blends. “Is this healthy?” “How many calories?” “Does this have red food coloring?” These became the new requirements.

Special events offered nothing special.

We ate wedding cake, and it tasted like wedding cake. We chose the roast beef option at the benefit, and it tasted like a roast beef option at a benefit.

For our clients and up to 1,000 of their favorite people, those days have come to an end. Sourcing from local organic farms and sustainable vendors, Gastronaut caters for corporations and social events with meals that are planned with every delight in mind.
